Yesterday we put BlackRock on notice that they’ve got a big climate problem.
Activists from our partners made a two pronged intervention yesterday on BlackRock. Starting our day at the Climate Week Sustainable Investment Forum by handing out bracelets and pamphlets asking “where is BlackRock” (who weren’t attending), we spent a few hours engaging BlackRock employees at their Manhattan headquarters. With a mobile billboard truck, free chocolate bars (wrapped in our campaign branding), spinning signs, and targeted digital ads, we were impossible to miss.
